Good Monday, this is Burton with your surf update for Racine County beaches effective on February the 13th 2012 at 2:34 p.m. Winds are light out of the SSW at 7 mph and the outside air temperature is at 28 degrees under cloudy skies with light snow. Waves for today are very poor for surfing on Lake Michigan here in the Racine area with wave heights in the knee high range and under. Today we will see mainly cloudy skies with light to moderate winds out of the south. Also for today we will see light off an on snow showers at Racine County beaches and the outside air temperatures will push up into the low 30's. Tonight look for light to moderate winds out of the south with 1 to 2 inches of snow expected. Skies for tonight will remain on the cloudy side and look for the outside air temperatures to drop down into the upper 20's at Racine beaches. The sunrise was this morning at 6:50 and the sun will set this evening at 5:19 p.m. The water surface temperatures off of Racine County beaches on Lake Michigan are at 38 degrees. Well not much in the forecast for waves for the next couple of days here in the Racine area on Lake Michigan. Keep checking back for new surf updates and have a great start to your work week. The next surf update will be this next Wednesday the 15th of February. Here is a picture that Will took a few swells back while we were surfing up north in Door County Wisconsin. Burton
