The waves were in the shin high range and under for today at all of Racine County beaches and surfing conditions on Lake Michigan were on the very poor side. Today we saw partly cloudy skies with light to moderate winds mainly out of the west. Tonight we will see light winds out of the west and skies will be clear at Racine County beaches. The outside air temperatures will drop down into the low 20's at Racine beaches. The sunrise was this morning at 6:56 a.m and the sun will set this evening at 5:13 p.m. The water surface temperatures off of Racine County beaches on Lake Michigan are at 40 degrees. Well after yesterday's fun late afternoon waves mainly out of the NNE we will see another round of winds and waves coming out of the north for Friday. And as the same as yesterday the late afternoon hours will be the biggest for Friday with the bigger waves filling in towards the second half of the day. Great meeting you Justin from Chicago yesterday surfing in South Milwaukee and sooooo stoked to help a fellow Lake surfer out from reading my surf reports. Have a great next couple of days and check for Fridays No Salt Surf report. Here is a picture that Dave Meisinger took of his son Blake Meisinger 15 years old and fellow Great Lakes surfing charger out here on The Lake surfing up in Milwaukee a few swells back.
