Good Thursday morning, this is Burton with your Racine County surf update recorded on July the 30th 2009 at 10:37 a.m.  West winds at 12 mph with the outside air temperature at 73 degrees under mainly cloudy skies at Racine beaches. Waves are flat for today once again with winds for today mainly out of the southwest. We will see partly to mostly cloudy skies for today with a high air temperature right at 75 degrees. We will see a chance for some light to moderate rain showers with a chance of a thunderstorm for this afternoon. Tonight still look for a chance for some light to moderate rain showers along with again a chance for a thunderstorm or two and winds will be light out of the WNW. 59 degrees will be our low air temperature for tonight and the sun will set at 8:14 p.m. The sunrise this morning was at 5:41 a.m and the water surface temperatures off of Racine beaches are at a nice 68 degrees. Well still stuck in the same situation with flat to very, very  small conditions for the next several days as far as waves go for the Racine area. Have a good day and check for Fridays surf update an hope things change soon so we can get out an catch a few waves soon. Looking really good right about now, U.P firing.
