Good Tuesday late morning, this is Burton with your surf report recorded on July the 28th 2009 at 11:47 a.m for Racine County beaches. Northwest winds at 9 mph with the outside air temperature at a warm 79 degrees under mainly sunny skies with only a few passing clouds at Racine beaches. Waves are in the shin high range and under at Racine beaches for this morning an going through the day with still very poor conditions for surfing on Lake Michigan. A beautiful summer day at Racine beaches with our high air temperatures pushing up to about 80 degrees with light winds out of the west. A very slight chance for an afternoon thunderstorm and skies will stay partly cloudy at Racine beaches. Tonight still look for a very slight chance for a thunderstorm with a low air temperature at 60 degrees and winds will stay light out of the NW. Skies for this evening will stay on the partly cloudy side and the sun will set at 8:16 p.m. The sunrise this morning was at 5:39 a.m and the water surface temperatures off of Racine County beaches are still at a nice 68 degrees. Flat to very small conditions prevail for the surfing conditions off of Racine County beaches for the next several days an all we can do is just wait and hope things change for the better as far as some surf goes. Hang in there an lets pray for some surf in the near future. Have a great Tuesday and check for Wednesday's surf update. More beautiful pictures from last weekends excursion.
