Friday Through Sunday's No Salt Surf Report For Racine County Beaches!

Good Friday morning, this is Burton with your surf update recorded at 11:06 a.m on July the 24th 2009. WSW winds at 7 mph with the outside air temperature at 78 degrees under mainly cloudy skies. Waves are flat for this morning and going through the afternoon with just light to moderate winds out of the southwest. We will see our high air temperature push up in to the upper 70's for today at Racine beaches with mostly cloudy conditions with a good chance for some afternoon thunderstorms with some moderate rain showers. Winds will stay out of the SW for today and going in to tonight and will stay on the light to moderate side. We will see a low around 67 degrees for this evening with cloudy conditions with still a good chance for some strong thunderstorms along with some moderate rain showers. Saturday we will see a good chance still of some thunderstorms with winds switching more out of the northwest but winds will only be on the light to moderate side and we will not see any waves over shin high with these winds. Look for our high air temps to push back up in to the mid to upper 70's for Saturday and the for Saturday night look for a low around 62 degrees. Sunday we will see pretty much the same conditions with our temps pushing back up in to the upper 70's with still a chance of an afternoon thunderstorm. Winds will be out of the west in the light to moderate range for Sunday and we will see a low air temeperature for Sunday night around 64 degrees. Looking flat once again for Sunday with still no waves in the surfcast for Racine County beaches. The sunrise this morning was at 5:35 a.m and the sun will set tonight at 8:20 p.m. Water surface temperatures off of Racine beaches on Lake Michigan are still at a nice 66 degrees. Well still on the very small to flat side for waves here in Racine County for the next several days but get out an enjoy this nice weekend we are going to have despite a few rain showers and thunderstorms in between.
