Good rainy Sunday morning, this is Burton with your surf update for Racine County beaches recorded on April the 26th 2009 at 8:46 a.m. ENE winds at 5 mph with the outside air temperature at 42 degrees under cloudy skies with light rain.  Well winds did not blow all through the evening so this mornings surf is in the very poor range with wave heights in the knee high range and under at all of Racine beaches. To add to the non existent surf there is also a lot of runoff in the water making a lot of places very dirty especially here in Racine with the root river flowing pretty good. Today we will see cloudy and rainy skies with a few thunderstorms working their way through the area. 65 degrees will be our high air temperature but it will be a little cooler by the lake for Racine beaches with  moderate winds out of the SSE. Tonight we will see moderate to strong winds out of the south with a low air temperature around 57 degrees with still a good shot of some more rain with a few leftover thunderstorms. The sunrise was at 5:51 a.m and the sun will set tonight at 7:46 p.m. Water surface temp's off of Racine beaches are still at a cold 42 degrees. Monday still look for a good chance of some rain showers along with a few thunderstorms and we will see a high air temperature around 67 degrees. Look for moderate to strong winds early out of the southwest for Monday but waves will be again on the small side with wave heights in the knee high range and under. Still really not much going on for waves here in Racine County for the next several days but next Wednesday we could see some weak winds and waves from the NE and NNE but small and weak. Have a good rest of the weekend and check for Tuesday's new surf update.
