Good Thursday, this is Burt with your surf report for Racine County beaches effective on April the 23rd 2009 at 9:34 a.m. SSE winds at 15 mph with the outside air temperature at 44 degrees under partly cloudy Wisconsin skies. Waves are flat for this morning and are going to stay on the very small side for today with moderate winds out of the SSE really not producing very much for waves at Racine beaches. Today we will see some warmer high air temp's with temperatures pushing up into the middle 50's with a good chance for some afternoon rain showers. Then for tonight we will see a warm low air temperature around 52 degrees with moderate winds out of the south and a slight chance of a thunderstorm late. The sunrise this morning was at 5:56 a.m and the sun will set tonight at 7:42 p.m. Water surface temperatures off of Racine beaches are at a cold 42 degrees. Well not to much going on for surf still for the next couple of day's but for today we will see warmer conditions.  Friday we will see a very nice day in store that we have not seen in quite a while with our air temp's pushing up in to the upper 70's. We will see gusty winds out of the SSW for Friday that will not produce waves for around here because of the warmer air not connecting with the cold lake water. Have a great rest of the work week and check for Friday's surfcast.
