Good Friday, this is Burton with your surf update recorded at 11:41 a.m on April the 17th 2009 for Racine County beaches. ESE winds at 8 mph with the outside air temperature at a nice 60 degrees already with clear and sunny skies. Waves are flat for today with just light winds out of the SSW. Another awesome day in store for today at Racine beaches with today's high air temp's pushing into the low 60's with plenty of sun. Tonight we will see a low around 44 degrees with mainly clear skies and winds will still be light out of the SSW. The sunrise this morning was at 6:06 a.m and the sun will set tonight at 7:35 p.m. Water surface temp's off of Racine beaches are at a cold 40 degrees and slowly rising. Well a beautiful day for today and for Saturday so get out and enjoy these couple of days because we are going to see a lot cooler temp's going into Sunday and for the first part of this next week. And with the cooler temps and a good chance for some rain showers, we will see some winds with this next storm system pushing its way through our area with winds out of the ENE and NE for Sunday. Looking a little better as we go into Tuesday with winds more out of the NNW that will bring us a better shot of some waves at the standouts for Tuesday. Things can change fast so check for Saturday surfcast and enjoy these next couple of days.
