Good sunny Thursday morning, this is Burt with your surf report for Racine County beaches effective on April the 16th 2009 at 9:32 a.m. ESE winds at 5 mph with the outside air temperature at a nice 49 degrees under very sunny Wisconsin skies. Waves are flat for today with winds on the light to moderate side out of the east and ENE. Today we will see warmer conditions in store with our high air temp's at Racine beaches pushing up into the upper 50's with plenty of sun. Tonight we will see a low around 38 degrees with clear skies and light and variable winds. The sunrise this morning was at 6:07 a.m and the sun will set tonight at 7:34 p.m. Water surface temp's off of Racine beaches are at a cold 40 degrees and slowly rising. Well very quiet as far as waves go for the next several days but in place of our waves we get some beautiful weather for the next couple of days that we have been waiting for a while. The next chance for some waves for the Racine area will be the first part of next week with winds and waves out of the NNE. It has been downgraded a little so we will have to see about this next wind and swell event when we get a little closer to this next week. Until then enjoy this nice weather we are having and check for Friday's surf update.
