Good Monday morning, this is Burt with your surf update recorded at 8:07 a.m on March the 30th 2009. WNW winds at 5 mph with the outside air temperature at a cold 24 degrees under mainly sunny Wisconsin skies. Waves this morning at the top standout spots here in Racine County are in the waist to stomach high range with top set waves up to chest high, surfing conditions are in the fair to good range. A few leftover waves for this morning but it will be dropping fast through the a.m hours. Today we will see mainly sunny skies with a high air temp right in the upper 30's. Winds will start off light for this morning out of the WNW but will be on the moderate side going into the afternoon with winds out of the NNE and switching more out of the ENE going into the late afternoon. Tonight we will see increasing clouds with also increasing winds out of the east with this next spring storm system starting to push it's way into the area for Tuesday. We will see a low air temperature for tonight around 32 degrees with just a slight chance of some rain after midnight. The sunrise this morning was at 6:36 a.m and the sun will set tonight at 7:15 p.m. Water surface temp's off of Racine County beaches are still at a cold 38 degrees. Some small leftover waves for this morning and then we will see some more waves for Tuesday with winds and waves out of the southeast with this next storm system working it's way in through the area. Have a great start to the work week and hope you got some of this last wind and swell with some really good waves on tap for yesterday. Check for Tuesday's No Salt Surfcast.
