This is Burt with your Racine surf update recorded at 8:22 a.m on Wednesday November the 26th 2008. WSW winds at 8 mph with the outside air temperature at  24 degrees with the wind chill at a cold 15 degrees under very sunny skies for this morning. Unfortunately waves for this morning are in the knee high range and under at all of Racine beaches with very poor conditions for surfing on Lake Michigan. Today we will see a lot of sun with light winds out of the west and WNW, todays high air temps will be in the mid to upper 30's. Tonight look for still light winds and clear conditions with a low air temperature around 25 degrees. The sunrise this morning was at 6:57 a.m and the sunset tonight is at an early 4:20 p.m, water surface temps off of Racine beaches is at a cold 46 degrees. I hope you got your waves yesterday because it is looking very small to flat until next Sunday the 30th with maybe some small waves out of the SSW for some parts of the Racine area. Then for December the 1st it looks like we could see a moderate to strong wind out of the NNW that could kick up some good surf for around here but still aways out so we will have to see when we get a little closer. A thanks going out to surfline for putting up our deal on The Bill Lemmons Memorial Contest that was held back on Sunday November the 9th, just some great surfing and good times on the beach. And another thanks goes out to Mike Killion for the pictures that surfline used and keep up the great work on the Great Lakes Surf Mag. Have a great Wednesday and check for Thursday's Thanksgiving surfcast.
