Welcome back, this is Burton with your surf update recorded on Tuesday October the 28th 2008 at 12:00 p.m. Northwest winds at 11 mph with the outside air temperature at a cool 40 degrees under mostly cloudy Wisconsin skies. Waves heights for this morning are in the knee to thigh high range with the top standout spots up to waist high with still poor conditions for surfing out on Lake Michigan. Today we will see a mix of clouds and sun with a cool high air temperature right around 42 degrees and moderate winds out of the NW. Tonight look for a low around 32 degrees with moderate winds out of the WNW and still partly cloudy conditions. Little waves out of the northwest for today but wave heights will not get over the waist high range here in the Racine area. The sun will set tonight at 5:49 p.m and the sun will rise on Wednesday October the 29th at 7:22 a.m. Water surface temps off of Racine beaches are right around 54 degrees and slowly dropping. Wednesday morning look for again some little waves in store but again nothing over the waist high range with winds and waves out of the NNW. Have a great Tuesday and check for Wednesday's No Salt Surfcast. This picture is Jim getting ready to go surf on his SUP board here in Racine County at The Rat's Nest.
