Good Tuesday morning, this is Burton with your surf update for Racine County recorded at 10:47 a.m on October the 14th 2008. NNW winds at 6 mph with the outside air temperature at a cool 55 degrees under partly cloudy Wisconsin skies. Waves are in the knee high range and under at the standout spots with very poor conditions for surfing on Lake Michigan. Another nice day in store with a mix of sun and clouds but a lot cooler then the last couple of days with today's high air temperature right around 60 degrees. Winds will be light out of the west for today and then for tonight we will see a low at a cool 47 degrees with partly cloudy skies. WSW winds will be in store for this evening with increasing clouds after midnight. Still not much as far as any solid waves for the next several days for the Racine area. Thursday the 16th we could see some small waves in the morning at the standout spots with wind and waves from the north but still not the strongest with nothing over the waist high range. The sun will set tonight at 6:09 p.m and the sun will rise on Wednesday October the 15th at 7:05 a.m. Water surface temps are still right at 60 degrees with that warm water sticking around. My surfcast will be down for the next couple of weeks from October the 15th through the 27th. So check back for new surf updates for Racine County beaches starting back up on the 28th of the end of this month. Like I said not looking the best for waves for the next week or so but hope this pattern changes and we all get to score some good waves soon. Have a great Tuesday and the rest of the week and I will be back on the 28th of October.
