Good late morning, this is Burton with your Racine County surf update recorded at 11:41 a.m on Saturday October the 11th 2008. Southeast winds at 8 mph with the outside air temperature at a nice 67 degrees under very sunny Wisconsin skies. Waves for this morning are in the shin to knee high range with set waves up to thigh high but waves will be dropping off fast into the noon hour with still poor conditions for surfing on the lake. Another beautiful fall day in store with sunny skies and a high air temperature around 70 degrees at Racine beaches. Winds will be light out of the SSE for today and then for tonight we will see a low air temp right at 59 degrees with still light winds out of the SSE and a few clouds. Water surface temperatures are still right at 60 degrees. The sun will set tonight at 6:14 p.m and the sun will rise again on Sunday October the 12th at 7:01 a.m. Some more small waves out of the SSE for Sunday morning but still on the small side. Not much going on for waves for our area for the next several day's but keep checking in for new updates, other than that have a great fall Saturday and get outside and enjoy this beautiful weather.     This picture was taken from my boat, a good Wind Point light house pic.
