This is Burt with your 9:42 a.m surf update for Racine County beaches effective on August the 26th 2008. East winds at 15 mph with the outside air temp at 66 degrees under very sunny skies. Wave heights are a little bigger then expected at Racine beaches for this morning with waves in the knee to thigh high range with top standout spots up to waist high on the set waves with fair conditions for surfing out on the lake. Today we will see a high air temperature around 71 degrees with mainly sunny skies and moderate winds out of the east. Tonight we will see a low air temp right around 60 degrees with clear skies and still moderate winds out of the east and ESE. A few fun little waves for some parts of Racine County beaches for this morning but the waves will be dropping off into the afternoon hours so get on it if you can. Water temps off Racine are still hanging in the 68 degrees range with very comfortable water conditions for surfing or just enjoying the lake. The sun will set at 7:35 p.m this evening. Have a great Tuesday and check for Wednesdays surfcast.  Picture, Lake Michigan and not today.
