Good Monday morning, this is Burton with your Lake Michigan surf update recorded on August the 18th 2008 at 11:29 a.m. WNW winds at 9 mph with the outside air temperature at a warm 81 degrees under sunny Wisconsin skies. Very flat conditions out there on the lake for surfing here in the Racine area with mainly winds out of the west. Another beautiful day in store once again with our air temps pushing up into the mid 80's with plenty of sun and winds will stay pretty moderate out of the west. Tonight look for lows around 63 degrees with only a few clouds in the area but overall mainly clear and winds will be light out of the northwest. The sun will set tonight at 7:48 p.m and the sun will rise on Tuesday the 19th of August at 6:02 a.m. Water surface temps off Racine beaches are relatively staying on the nice side with temps right around 68 degrees. Another very weak northeast wind is setting up for the overnight hours into Tuesday with some very small waves on tap for Racine standout spots but overall very weak with poor conditions for surfing on Tuesday. Other than that still not much going on in the surfcast for the next several days but check for new updates. Have a great Monday and check for Tuesdays surf update. Up north somewhere, hope we get some of these soon I think we all need it by now.
