This is Burton with your 1:14 p.m surfcast effective on June the 30th 2008. NNE winds at 6 mph with the outside air temperature at 73 degrees under mostly sunny skies with only a few clouds in the area. Waves are in the knee high range and under at the top standout spots. Waves did get up to thigh high for the early parts of this morning out of the north and NW but faded quickly through the morning. Todays high air temps will be in the low to mid 70's with winds out of the NNE that will be light to moderate. Tonight look for our low air temps down to the upper 50's with clear skies.  The water surface temps are right around 60 degrees. Maybe another light to moderate wind from the north for the mid day hours and into the evening on July the 3rd that might bring us some more small stuff but thats about it for now. Have a good day and rest in peace Vedder. Check for Tuesdays surf update for al of Racine Countys beaches.
