Good weekend, this is Burton with your Racine County surf update for Racine beaches effective at 9:37 a.m on June the 21st 2008. West winds at 11 mph with the outside air temperature at 67 degrees under cloudy skies with some areas of light rain. Waves are flat for today and going into Sunday also with just light to moderate winds for today out of the WNW. Today look for our high air temps to push up into the upper 70's with a chance of some afternoon thunderstorms. We will see some sun through the day today after these rain showers clear out from this morning with a pretty decent day in store. Tonight look for partly cloudy skies with our low air temps in the upper 50's. Sunday look for cooler condition with our outside air temps getting into the low 70's with a good chance for some late afternoon thunderstorms with again another flat day on tap for waves. Water surface temps off Racine beaches are right around 56 degrees and rising with this warmer weather and great visibility with all the runoff calming down from all the rain we had a few weeks ago. Still not much going on for surf for around these parts for the next several days but all we can do is just hope this pattern changes in the near future. Have a great weekend and check for Mondays surfcast.
