This is Burt with your 10:04 a.m surf update for Racine County beaches effective on May the 22nd 2008. Moderate northeast winds this morning at 11 mph and the outside air temperature at 50 degrees with mostly cloudy Wisconsin skies. Waves are in the ankle high range and under with very poor conditions out on the lake for surfing. Today we will see mostly clouds in the morning with more sun for the afternoon hours and our high air temperature will be hanging in the middle 50's. NE and ENE winds will be moderate to light through out the day with a cool breeze of the lake. Tonight look for lows to drop back down in the low 40's again with light winds out of the NNE. Not much for any kind of surf for our area with in the next several days but still looking at next Tuesday with a chance of wind and waves from the north. The sun will set at 8:15 p.m this evening and this picture is from todays sunrise over Lake Michigan which was at 5:21 a.m, have a great day and check for Fridays surf update.
