Good Friday morning, this is Burton with your Racine County surf update effective at 11:10 a.m April the 11th 2008. A very nice 54 degrees right now with the winds out of the SSE at 13 mph with gusts to 18 with mostly cloudy skies. Waves this morning are in the waist to stomach range with top set waves up to chest high with fair to poor conditions for surfing. Lots of runoff though with all the rain we had yesterday making the water quality   not the best for this morning with very muddy and murky conditions out there. There are some somewhat clean waves coming in though with some dumpy peaks with some rights and some lefts to be had but watch out for some strong thunderstorms this morning and going into the afternoon. Todays high air temps will be right around the low 50's with cooler temps going through the rest of today. Waves will also start to tapper off through the day with the sun setting tonight at 7:28 p.m. Check for this evenings surf update and have a great day.
