Good evening, Burton here with your Racine County surfcast effective at 4:15 p.m March the 31st 2008. ESE winds at 6 mph with the outside air temperature at 40 degrees under cloudy foggy skies. Waves for this afternoon are still very small with waves in the shin high range and under at the top spots. Still a good chance this evening for some rain showers that could be heavy at times and also some strong thunderstorms as well. Tonights low air temps will be not that cold with lows in the upper 30's with the winds picking up moderate to strong out of the SW. Looking into Tuesday morning we will see some waves coming out of the SW from the leftover winds from Monday late evening and Tuesday early a.m, but the winds will switch for the early a.m hours more out of the west with dropping waves. Then as the winds switch through the day the winds will come more out of the NW for the mid day hours and into the late afternoon with building fun waves out of the NW. It really needs to switch more earlier then later for us to see any decent size waves for Tuesday. Waves for the early a.m hours will be out of the SW with most spots here in Racine in the shin to knee high range with the standout spots up to thigh high . Check for Tuesday morning's early surfcast and have a good evening. P.S Had to add this pic from my last time from surfing out in Cali just needed a new monitor because it would not post off my other one,now just need to figure out how to shrink them. Just for some surf stoke to stay stoked, hope it looks like this Tuesday (:
