Good snowy Friday afternoon, this is Burton with your 3:53 Racine County ice update effective on February the 1st 2008. WNW winds at 9 mph with the outside air temperature at 29 degrees under very cloudy Wisconsin skies with just a few light flurries here and there. As far as the ice goes it is very treacherous out in the lake with the ice going from the shore line all the way out to about a half mile out as you can see in the pictures and with yesterdays east winds not helping out at all for our ice situation. Tonights lows will be in the low 20's with the clouds sticking around for the overnight hours and then for Saturday look for a few flurries but no accumulation to worry about especially after today. Saturdays high air temps will be in the low 30's with a lot more sun for the second half of the day as high pressure works its way back in. Just look for light winds for tonight out of the WSW, have a great weekend and check for Mondays ice update.
