Good Monday morning, this is Burton with your No Salt Surf update for Racine County recorded on January the 21st at 10:37 a.m. 9 degrees out there right now with the winds very light out of the south at 3 mph and cloudy skies with light snow. Waves very flat again for today with not much wind moving over the lake or here in Racine with just light winds for today out of the south and southeast. A snow advisory is still in effect until Tuesday morning with 4 to 6 inches of accumulation when all said and done, todays high air temps in the low 20's with steady snow into the afternoon hours. Not looking good at all out there with lots of ice, slush and our not so friendly ice shelf stretching into the line up. The rest of the week will not get out of the cold temps that we are stuck in so it looks like the ice shelf and the ice in the line up is only going to get worse as the days go on. Check for this evenings surf update and as far as waves go here in Racine it looks like we could have some small waves from the NW for the mid day hours for Tuesday but really we will have to see if its fit for surfing with all this ice.
