Good morning,this is Burton with your Racine County surf update effective on January the 17th 2008 at 8:55 am. 32 degrees right now with the winds out of the south at 9 mph and cloudy Wisconsin skies. Waves small for this morning with wave heights in the knee high range and under but the waves will be building through the day with moderate to strong winds out of the SSW. A long with these wind and waves comes some snow for this late afternoon and into the evening with 1 to 2 inches expected, high air temps for today will be in the mid 30's. Some fun little waves on tap for this afternoon and going into the evening after that it looks like we are going to get super cold going into the weekend with a arctic blast of the coldest air of the season with dangerous conditions for surfing even with our thick winter wet suits, the wind chills will reach below -10 with frost bite conditions.
