This is Burton with your 4:30 p.m surf update for Racine beaches recorded on December th 26th 2007. Cloudy conditions with the outside air temp at 38 degrees and the winds are out of the south at 8. Light SW winds for the overnight hours with a chance of a little snow, snow accumulations will be under one inch. Waves this afternoon are in the shin high range and under with a awesome spring like day, high air temps were right about 43 degrees with mainly sunny skies. Still not much going on for this side of the lake for our waves here in Racine but that should start to change by Friday with a moderate east and NE wind and swell event and a strong NW is setting up for January 1st,so lets hope this one holds together this time. Overnight lows down to right around 30 degrees with still some snow showers sticking around for the early a.m hours. Check for Thursdays surfcast.
