This is Burton with your Racine County surf update recorded at 11:12 a.m November the 27th 2007. NW winds at 17 mph with gusts to 29 with the outside air temp at 24 degrees with the wind chill at 11 degrees under sunny skies with very windy conditions. Waves are still really small for all of this wind with waves in the thigh high range and under with very poor conditions for surfing at Racine beaches. Way too much west in our winds for today blowing our waves to the other side of the lake but that will change as we go into Wednesday with strong winds and waves from the SE. However there will be some rain and snow showers pushing in also with this next system working its way through the area and wind gusts could be very strong with gusts over 40 mph. Highs today will only get in the low 30's so dress accordingly. Watch out for tonights surfcast there could be some fun waves in store for parts of Racine County with this next wind event for Wednesday.
