This is Burton with your Racine County surf update for August the 28th recorded at 8:30a.m.  Winds SSW at 11 knots with the outside air temp at 73 degrees under mostly cloudy skies. Well our south winds are blowing out there for today but Racine beaches will only see really  small waves even at the stand out spots. Wave heights about ankle to shin high with a knee high set wave maybe at the peak of the wind and swell. Look for a good cold front to make its way down the lake by Wednesday afternoon and overnight and by Thursday early morning we finally should have some good waves to ride at certain spots here in Racine.Check for this evenings surfcast.
