This is Burt with you Racine County surf update recorded at 9:30am June the 27th 2007. West winds up to 10 knots with the outside air temp at a very muggy 81 degrees under sunny skies. For today look for  scattered thunderstorms  for Racine beaches by the noon hour and then off an on thunderstorms into the afternoon and evening and then clearing out. As this system clears out NNW winds will be behind this system to cool things off more than a little with highs for Thursday only getting in the mid 60s. Now for the surf for Racine beaches look for winds to switch more out of the NNE into Thursday morning and increase through the noon hour into afternoon with the best time to get out and surf would be from 12 noon to about 4 pm and then thoes winds will start to back off and so will the waves. So get out there and surf for Thursday if you can because this looks like the only solid wind and swell for the next several days. Check for a pretty early surfcast for Thursday morning.
