Good Friday morning, this is Burton with your Racine county surfcast for February 23rd -  25th weekend outlook. Winds out of the NE this morning around 8 knots with the air temperature about 27 degrees. Well our little warm streak is about to come to an end with lots of snow, wind and colder temps for this weekend into early next week. Waves on the way with this very strong winter storm, winds will turn ENE today into the afternoon  and then over to east and then for Saturday stronger ESE winds and waves so look for very sheltered  spots with all this wind. Ice buildup  leaving us here in Racine with very surfable spots with very few ice chunks out there but still watch out with those east winds might blow some ice back in over the weekend. Wave heights going well overhead by Saturday night into Sunday with the winds straight out of the east look for several inches of snow and possibly blizzard conditions here in Racine. Get some waves this weekend with our good shot of waves and not that much ice could make some fun waves at certain locations but watch those strong east winds Check back for next weeks surfcast.
