Hi, this is Burton with your Racine surfcast for February 16th-18th. Well finally waves with no way out there because of our ice shelf about 8 to 10 feet in most areas and with lots of ice out there to making it impossible to surf. West winds right now about 8 knots with a air temperature around 9 degrees making it a very cold day with the high going to be around 15. Look for more west winds today and then Friday and Saturday look for winds out of the SW pretty strong giving us here in Racine a little more warmer air. Also look for a couple of storm systems to make there way through the area giving us a shot of a little more snow Friday night into Saturday morning. More shot at some waves out of the NW but like I said not surfable and very dangerous out there, lets hope this next week this little warming trend is here to stay so we can all get out there and surf again soon. Check back for Mondays report and get out there and snowboard a little with all this good snow.
